6-Vehicle Collision on 15 Freeway leaves Several People Hurt in Rancho Cucamonga

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A major crash on the busy southbound Interstate 15 in Rancho Cucamonga hurt several people Tuesday morning.

The crash happened around 5am on June 3, 2025 on southbound I-15 just after the Baseline Avenue exit in the heart of morning commute.

The six-vehicle pileup shut down lanes for over 2 hours as tow trucks removed the vehicles out of the vehicle.

Early indications suggest one of the vehicles stopped or become disabled in the traffic lanes.

A preliminary video of the wreckage shows severe damage to a least four vehicles. Debris from the crash covers the roadway.

Several people were reported to be transported to a local hospital with minor to serious injuries.

We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. Additional details were limited at this time. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Rancho Cucamonga Office.
