DEVORE, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A pickup truck hauling a trailer caught fire on Cajon Boulevard Sunday afternoon, sparking a small brush fire and forcing a full closure of the road.
The fire occurred at around 4:20pm August 24, 2025, on Cajon Blvd near Glen Helen Parkway, when flames erupted from the truck, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Officials said the driver pulled over to the right shoulder of the roadway, where flames spread to nearby brush.
The brush fire was knocked down and burned about ¼ acre. Crews were able to extinguish the flames in less than a half an hour.
No injuries were immediately reported.
The cause of the vehicle fire was unclear.
