KRAMER JUNCTION, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Road work and repairs on busy Highway 395 near the Kramer Junction area, will create a minor delay for motorists traveling through roadwork area on Saturday.
The roadwork is scheduled to take place on March 6, 2021, from 5am to 4pm*. With one lane flagging in both directions.
The lane closure will be in place from mile marker 40 to 45. The California Highway Patrol will be on scene for the closure to ensure worker and motorist safety.
Caltrans maintenance crews will be installing damaged and missing delineators in the center median of Highway 395. California Highway Patrol will be on scene for the closure to ensure worker and motorist safety.
Delineators are tall pylons (similar to traffic cones) mounted on the road surface, center divider, or along the edge of a road, and are used to channelize traffic. These are a form of raised pavement marker but unlike most such markers, delineators are not supposed to be hit by vehicles.
Roadwork can be up to 30 minute delay to bypass the work zone.
Use alternate route to avoid delays! Take Interstate 15 to Hwy 58 to Kramer Jct.
The work schedule will be subject to change due to weather or construction-related issues.
*Lanes may open earlier if they finish early.
