HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Two vehicle crash sent one to rollover from northbound Interstate 15, resulted in one person being injured Sunday morning in Hesperia.
California Highway Patrol, Hesperia Police Department, and San Bernardino Fire Department received calls of a crash. It was reported on northbound Interstate 15 just after Main Street. This happened at about 7:21am Sunday morning on March 14, 2021.
A black Lexus ES300 sedan was traveling northbound on the I-15 when for reasons still unknown, the driver hit the vehicle in front of him, then lost control crashed into the ditch, went thru a fence, and rolled over. The Lexus landed back on its wheels onto Mariposa Road between Avenal Street and Mojave Street.
The other vehicle was a Mazda CX model did stop and has minor damage to the back of her vehicle
The male driver did exited his vehicle under his own power. Later he was complaining of a injury and was transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital to be checked out, reports from the San Bernardino Fire Department.
The incident temporarily blocked traffic on Mariposa Road for about over a hour as CHP investigated the crash.
This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Victorville Office. CHP says additional information will be updated as it becomes available.
