Firefighters Make Quick Work Of Small Brush Fire In Fontana Near Lytle Creek

FONTANA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Firefighters quickly got control of a small brush fire that broke out in a dirt field area Friday morning.

This fire was reported at about 11:37am Friday, July 30, 2021. Located near Glen Helen Parkway and Sierra Avenue in Fontana. US Forest Service, CAL Fire, and San Bernardino County Fire Department firefighters were quickly on scene. At 12:15pm the fire has been stopped at about two acres burned. Firefighters will remain in the area for mop-up operations for about a hour or so to make sure no hot spots flare up. No major road or lane closures during the fire fight. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
