FONTANA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A pedestrian was killed by an oncoming semi while walking on Interstate 15 Thursday night.
The deadly collision happened at about 11:09pm near Duncan Canyon Road offramp, according to the California Highway Patrol Traffic Log. The semi-truck fuel tanker was traveling north on I-15, hit a male walking in the slow lane of the freeway.
When CHP arrived on the scene, they found a male pedestrian that was hit and unresponsive in the slow lane. Shortly after CPR efforts on scene failed, they pronounced the pedestrian deceased.
The semi driver involved in the incident remained on the scene and was cooperating with investigators. This incident is currently under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Rancho Cucamonga Office.
