VICTORVILLE, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> No injures were reported when their car crashed into the back of a moving semi-trailer truck on the southbound Interstate 15 in Victorville Wednesday evening.
California Highway Patrol said a car slammed into the back of a moving tractor trailer. Both were traveling on southbound Interstate 15 about a mile after the Bear Valley Road onramp. The crash was reported at about 7:50pm Wednesday June 1, 2022. CHP and Victorville Fire Department responded to the traffic crash. The vehicles involved were a sliver unknown sedan with major front end damage that rolled over upside down. The other vehicle was a semi pulling a trailer with damage to the mansfield safety bar
The driver of the sliver car who struck the rear end of the moving semi tractor trailer was speeding at a unknown high speed. No injures were reported at the scene.
A Good Samaritan was able to run over with a fire extinguisher to extinguish a small fire that started on the car.
The incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Victorville Office. CHP said additional information will be updated as it becomes available. Additional details were limited at this time.
