VICTORVILLE, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A driver has minor injuries after the SUV rolled over multiple times, landing on southbound Interstate 15, according to the California Highway Patrol.
California Highway Patrol and Victorville Fire Department received calls for a roll over crash. The solo vehicle involved was a light gray Toyota 4Runner SUV that rolled-over multiple times. The Toyota landed on its tires with major damage. Landing in the center divider of southbound Interstate 15 near Stoddard Wells Road/Bell Mountain exit. The crash happened at about 3:07pm on Monday June 27, 2022.
The CHP traffic log reported the vehicle was traveling on the frontage road next to the freeway. Then the driver lost control at a high speed went over all three lanes of northbound I-15, hit the center divider k-rail, rolled over multiple times landing in the southbound side in the center divider. Driver was reported to have only minor injuries.
The driver took out about 40 feet of chain-link fence that separates the freeway from the frontage road.
There are no other details released as to what caused the crash at this time. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Victorville Office. CHP says additional information will be updated as it becomes available.
