HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A crash involving five vehicles temporarily shut down southbound lanes on Interstate 15 in Hesperia on Wednesday afternoon.
California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino Fire Department received calls of a crash. It was reported on southbound Interstate 15 about a half of mile after Main Street exit. The crash happened at about 2:04pm Wednesday on December 21, 2022.
The vehicles involved in the crash were a white Hyundai Sonata with some rear-end damage, a dark blue Tesla with both front and rear-end damage. Third vehicle was reported to be sliver Kia Optima with front-end and driver side damage. The four vehicle was a blue Subaru Outback and a small white SUV both with some damage. On arrival, 5 vehicles were blocking the #1 lane.
Rescue crews arrived on scene they requested a ambulance for one person. Later the person with minor injuries declined the ambulance service. Traffic was backup all the way to Roy Rogers Drive.
