HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A crash involving at least three vehicles on southbound Interstate 15 in the city of Hesperia Friday afternoon.
California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino Fire Department received calls of a collision on southbound I-15 just after the Main Street exit. The crash happened at about 3pm Friday on December 30, 2022.
The vehicles involved in the crash were a sliver Honda Accord sedan that hit the krail in the center divider, and went over landed in the construction area in the middle of the freeway. The second vehicle was a white Ford F-150 pickup truck. The third vehicle was a dark blue Tesla sedan landed on the krail stated on the CHP traffic log. On arrival, firefighters located the Ford pickup truck with heavy front-end damage, blocking the #1 lane and a sliver Honda with heavy damage in the construction zone in the center divider.
Rescue crews requested two ambulances to the scene. Two people were transported by ground ambulance to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries. Other people involved had only minor injures. Lanes were reopened after about an hour and a half. Traffic was backed up all the way to Palmdale Road at one point.
