Semi Tractor Trailer Goes Through The Center Divider On Southbound I-15

VICTORVILLE, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A semi tractor-trailer plowed into a concrete k-rail barrier on southbound Interstate 15 near the Main Street exit in Hesperia causing major delays during the morning commute.

California Highway Patrol and Victorville Fire Department received calls of a big rig that went through the center divider. The crash was reported on southbound Interstate 15 just before the Main St. exit. The crash happened at about 5:06am Tuesday on February 21, 2023.

It’s still unknown how the driver of the semi veered off the roadway into the center divider at an unknown rate of speed. The semi driver was able to miss passing vehicles and plowed over the k-rail and landed on the construction area in the center median.

No major injuries were reported. The semi was reported to be partly loaded with bakery goods.

At this point, it’s not known why the semi veered off the freeway. The driver may have some kind of medical issue or fell asleep.
