Crash Jammed The Morning Commute On Southbound I-15

HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A crash involving at least five vehicles on southbound Interstate 15 jammed the morning commute.

California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino Fire Department received calls of a collision on southbound I-15 just after the Ranchero Road exit. The crash happened at about 4:58 am Thursday, March 9, 2023.

The vehicles involved in the crash were listed on the CHP traffic log. One vehicle was a white Toyota Prius sedan with major front-end damage blocking the fast lane. The second vehicle was a light blue Lexis RX SUV with major rear-end damage blocking the #2 lane. The third and fourth vehicle was a black Toyota Corolla sedan and a gray Toyota Camry both with major damage to their vehicles.

No injuries were reported, just traffic backed up for miles. We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. Additional details were limited at this time. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Victorville Office.
