California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Department firefighters were getting calls of a blue Subaru Forester sedan on fire. The vehicle was located on northbound Interstate 15 about two miles before the Cleghorn Road off ramp in the center divider. The car fire happened on Sunday about 11:45am April 23, 2023. California Highway Patrol and firefighters were on the scene and had to temporarily shut down the fast lane while they worked on getting the vehicle fire put out.

Traffic backup quickly in both direction and firefighters had the fire out in about a half of a hour. Everybody did escape the vehicle before it became fully engulfed. No injuries were reported at the scene. The cause of the vehicle fire is unknown at this time.
