No Injuries in SUV Fire off of I-15 in Hesperia Monday Morning

HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> No injuries were reported after a SUV caught fire just off of Interstate 15 in Hesperia.

California Highway Patrol, CAL FIRE and San Bernardino County Fire Department firefighters were getting calls to the scene of a vehicle on fire on northbound Interstate 15 in the right shoulder just before the Ranchero Road exit. The vehicle fire was reported just before 8am on Monday August 28, 2023, with flames coming from the engine compartment.

California Highway Patrol and firefighters were on the scene to work on getting the vehicle fire put out. They had to temporary shut down the slow lane. The vehicle was reported to be a white Ford Explorer Everybody did escape the vehicle before it became on fire. Firefighters were able to stop the flames the engine compartment.

No injuries were reported at the scene. The cause of the vehicle fire is unknown at this time.
