HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A crash involving at least six vehicles temporarily shut down the fast lane and partly the middle lane on southbound lanes on Interstate 15 in Hesperia on Monday afternoon. (Photo above is credit by Brain Bullok)
California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino Fire Department received calls of a crash. It was reported on southbound Interstate 15 just after the Main Street exit. The crash happened at about 2:07pm Monday on October 2, 2023.
The six vehicles involved in this crash were a white Mercedes-Benz GLC300, silver Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck, a light blue 4-door sedan, a white Dodge Challenger, a white Walmart semi, and a unknown vehicle stated on the CHP traffic log.
One person was transported by a ambulance to a local hospital with a shoulder injury.
Traffic was backup all the way down to Mojave Drive in Victorville as of 4pm that’s about 8 miles traffic jammed.
We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. Additional details were limited at this time. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Victorville Office.
