HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A witness said speed is possibly a factor in a three-car crash on Interstate 15 Wednesday evening that left one person hurt. (Photo above is credit by Jasmine Garibay)
According to California Highway Patrol, the crash happened at about 6:05pm on October 4, 2023, on northbound I-15 between the Ranchero Road and Highway 395 exit. The vehicles involved were a black Chevrolet Camaro with left front tire damage, a unknown vehicle possibly a pickup truck, and a white Lexus ES350 sedan that had rolled over.
A witness stated the driver of the Camaro was speeding at a high rate of speed, hit the Lexus causing the Lexus to lose control hit the k-rail and overtured blocking the fast lane and the #2 lane. The Camaro also hit the k-rail and reported blew-out a left front tire and some damage to the front end.
One person was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
Impairment is not believed to be a factor however speed is likely to be a factor in the collision.
