HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A man had to be airlifted to the hospital after a motorcycle and a semi tractor-trailer were involved in a collision on Interstate 15 Friday morning.
Officials said the crash occurred just after 5am, Friday October 20, 2023 on northbound I-15 just before the Ranchero Road exit in the city of Hesperia. The vehicles involved in the collision were a black Harley-Davidson motorcycle and a semi tractor-trailer.
Rescue crew rendered aid to the motorcyclist involved in the incident and requested a medical helicopter. The rider was flown by Mercy Air Medical helicopter #22 near the crash scene to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center with unknown injuries.
Authorities did not reveal what caused the crash and who was at fault. We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. Additional details were limited at this time. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Victorville Office.
