Motorcycle Crash on I-15 Christmas sent Rider to the Hospital

HESPERIA, CA. (PainInThePass) >> Motorcycle rider was injured following a Christmas Day motorcycle crash on Interstate 15.

The California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Department says the collision happened about 4:05pm on northbound I-15 at the Joshua Street offramp, involving a motorcyclist on a green super sports bike and a white Ford Focus sedan.

The rider was ejected from the bike. The rider was lying in the traffic lanes. CHP traffic log stated the rider was able to crawl to the right shoulder of the freeway. Rescue crews arrived on scene and transported the rider to a local hospital with moderate condition.

The vehicle that hit the motorcyclist did stop at the scene and was not injured. We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. Additional details were limited at this time. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Victorville Office.
