HAMMERTOWN, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> According to the Southern California Weather Force Weather Service, the second weekend of the 2024 Progressive King of the Hammers Presented by Nitto and Powered by OPTIMA Batteries weather will be below.

What is the King of the Hammers. It is an off-road race that combines desert racing and rock crawling. This race is held in every year on Means Dry Lake at Johnson Valley, California. The King of The Hammers started racing with the Ultra 4 Racing’s Series. Now the off-road racing has expanded from one weekend to three weekends, with other divisions now racing each weekend.

Weather Forecast:

Friday is the Toyo Tires Desert Challenge Presented by Monster Energy Pre-Running. The weather forecast is calling for mostly sunny conditions and highs near 61° with light winds and no chance of rain.

Saturday is the Toyo Tires Desert Challenge Presented by Monster Energy Round 1. The weather forecast is calling for mostly sunny conditions and highs near 66° with gusty winds and no chance of rain,

With this in mind, let’s take a look at the next week and Saturday weather forecast for the Rock Course Pre-Run and the King of the Hammers races. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday will be mostly sunny in the mid 60s temps. Thursday will be partly cloudy with rain showers 52°. Friday and Saturday forecast will be partly sunny and 52° on both days. No racing on Sunday.
