Small Brush Fire Broke Out in Hesperia on Summit Valley Rd

HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A two acre brush fire broke out off of Summit Valley Road near Telephone Canyon Road on Monday afternoon. (Photo above is credit by LeAnne Chad)

San Bernardino County Fire Department and CAL Fire were getting calls of a small brush fire in south Hesperia. This fire was reported just after 12pm Monday, May 6, 2024.

It was reported a male adult wear a red shirt standing near the flames when the fire was first started. It’s unknown if he was questioned or detained.

SBFD firefighters were quickly were on scene and extinguish the flames in about 30 minutes.

The fire was stopped and the size was about two acres section burned. No structures were never affected by the flames or the smoke.

The cause of the fire is under investigation at this time.
