Heavy Traffic in the Afternoon, this Week for the Hesperia Unified School District Graduation Ceremony at the Glen Helen Amphitheater in Devore

DEVORE, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Thousands are expected each day to attend Graduation Commencement Ceremony each day. Heavy traffic on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoon in the Cajon Pass going southbound on Interstate 15 at the 215 Interchange at Devore Road going to the Glen Helen Amphitheater.

If you plan on traveling to or through the Cajon Pass in the afternoon, please give yourself plenty of extra time.

Graduates should plan to arrive beginning at 4pm when the venue opens Only Student Parking Gate 1. The guest without student use parking lot Gate 2, gate opens at 5pm and guests will be allowed to enter the venue at 5pm.

Special Notice: There is a $10 parking fee vehicle for guest parking at Glen Helen Amphitheater.

We advise that graduating students and their guests to give themselves extra time for travel and for parking.

The ceremony begins at 6pm each day. The ceremony will last approximately over two (2+) hours. No live stream link for each school this years. They haven’t posted the info.

HESPERIA HIGH SCHOOL on Tuesday, May 28th at 6pm

OAK HILLS HIGH SCHOOL on Wednesday, May 29th at 6pm

SULTANA HIGH SCHOOL on Thursday, May 30th at 6pm

Victor Valley Community College on Wednesday, June 12, at 6pm

Each graduation ceremony should end at or before 9pm.

Traffic Tips to and from Oak Hills/Hesperia area:

Expect Delays each afternoon around 3-5pm southbound Interstate 15 in the Cajon Pass.

Expect Delays at 4-5pm each day on Devore Road onto to Glen Helen Parkway.

Expect Delays on northbound Interstate 15 in Hesperia at 9pm each night for roadwork. 2 lanes could be blocked all night. Roadwork starts at Oak Hill Road to Main Street each night.

Know before you go and check the Pain In The Pass Facebook Group for up to date traffic conditions on the 15 freeway.

GLEN HELEN AMPHITHEATER – GUIDELINES

Guests are permitted to bring in one (1) factory sealed bottle of water up to one gallon in size (PLASTIC ONLY, NO METAL OR GLASS CONTAINERS). Camelbacks, aluminum containers or Hydroflasks are not permitted.
