JOHNSON VALLEY, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The 2025 King of the Hammers Schedule and Weather forecast for week one of three.

The King of the Hammers is an off-road race that combines desert racing and rock crawling. This race is held on Means Dry Lake in Johnson Valley, near Yucca Valley.

Nicknamed “Hammertown” is a pop-up town in the middle of the desert with roughly 400 teams and 80,000+ spectators will attend the three-week desert races.

Expect traffic on Bear Valley towards Highway 18 Lucerne Valley on Fridays and Sundays coming back to I-15 Freeway.

This week’s schedule and weather forecast.

Friday January 24 The Monster Energy King of the Motos Sign in and the weather will be Sunny with gusty wind with a high of 63° and the low of 39°.

Saturday Jan 25 The Monster Energy King of the Motos Race 1, and the Jeremy McGrath Holeshot King Race and the weather will be Partly Cloudy with gusty wind and a high of 57° and the low of 35°.

Sunday Jan 26 The Monster Energy King of the Motos Race 2, and the Jeremy McGrath King of the Grand Prix Race and the weather will be Partly Cloudy with gusty wind and small chance of rain showers, with a high of 48° and the low of 33°.
