CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A motorcycle rider was injured following a crash on Mother’s Day afternoon on southbound Interstate 15.
The rider was traveling on southbound I-15 at the top of the Cajon Pass when the accident occurred approximately 4:15pm on May 11, 2025, about a mile after the Oak Hill Road exit.
San Bernardino County Fire responded to a crash involving a motorcycle and a silver Chevrolet sedan.
The rider was thrown from the motorcycle and lying on the ground in traffic lanes and moved to the right shoulder. Due to the extent of the injuries, a medical helicopter was summoned to land on the freeway.
Mercy Air #22 airlifted the male rider to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center with serious injuries. He was reportedly breathing on his own, after been knock out by the impact of the collision.
A cause for the accident and the name of the rider have not been released at this time.
