Auburn Fire Sparked by Motorhome in Adelanto

ADELANTO, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The Auburn Fire sparked by a fully engulfed motorhome to the desert vegetation Tuesday evening.

The fire, was first reported at about 5:18pm on May 20, 2025, near the area of Auburn Avenue. Barcelona Ave, and Richardson Road.

When San Bernardino County Fire crews arrived, they found a motorhome fully engulfed in flames. With the flames already spread to the nearby desert vegetation.

With the strong afternoon winds with moderate rate of spread a spotting ahead of itself. This prompted the immediate request for additional resources. They requested more engines and help contain the fire.

At 7:15pm the total reached 54 acres before forward progress was stopped.

No injuries reported. One adult female has been displaced by the loss of the motorhome.

San Bernardino County Fire officials thanked cooperating agencies, including CAL FIRE, Apple Valley Fire Department, and Victorville Fire Department for their assistance.
