BARSTOW, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Two people were injured late Sunday afternoon when they were involved in a motorcycle crash on southbound Interstate 15 in Barstow.
The California Highway Patrol reported a solo motorcycle crash, that two people riding on a motorcycle. They were riding on southbound I-15 connector ramp to westbound Highway 58 around 4:53pm June 22.
It’s unclear why, but the rider veered off the ramp. They were both ejected from the black Harley-Davidson type motorcycle as it rolled off the freeway.
Both riders suffered serious injuries and both needed to be airlifted from the scene.
Mercy Air #66 and CHP helicopter #82 landed at the scene and transported both to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.
City of Barstow Fire Department didn’t specify the extent of the injuries suffered.
The ramp was reopened just after 6pm, after the crash investigation.
