SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The remnants of Hurricane Priscilla will swing a rain-band across parts of Southern California on Thursday late morning into the afternoon October 9, 2025.
Weather Techs are says the remnants of Priscilla northern edge of the spiral arm will be sweeping across areas from the Inland Empire, Orange, San Diego, Imperial, Riverside, and San Bernardino County on Thursday.
Flood Watch has been issued on Thursday morning through Saturday evening for parts of San Bernardino County, including Morongo Valley, Twentynine Palms, Yucca Valley and Needles. Also, if you are traveling on Interstate 10 and I-40 into Arizona.
Moisture from Hurricane Priscilla will move into the area, helping to fuel multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms from Thursday through Saturday. Due to the tropical nature of this moisture, storms are expected to be efficient rainfall producers with rain rates in excess of 1 inch per hour in a storm cell.
Please monitor weather forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop on these days.
Chances for showers and thunderstorms Thursday afternoon into Friday afternoon for Riverside County and San Bernardino County mountains and deserts. Big Bear will have a better chance that Wrightwood. Pop-up storms could and will develop.
Some cities may see rain showers and some will just see clouds.
As for the weekend, expected fall weather and dry conditions.
