LUCERNE VALLEY, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A rolled-over semi-truck crash has closed parts of Highway 18 at Fairlane Road Tuesday evening near the Mitsubishi Cement Plant.
According to California Highway Patrol officials, at about 5:20pm November 18, 2025, they received calls of a crash with two semi-trucks with one semi tipped over on its side. One semi was described as a cement truck and trailer. The other semi was a double-loader cement trailer on its side.
The collision caused the semi double-loader cement trailer to block one lane of the highway. The semi reported to be leaking fluids from the truck onto the highway.
Caltrans and a tow company closed off a portion of Hwy 18 in response to the collision. It is unclear when the road will be re-opened.
The semi driver suffered only minor injuries.
The circumstances leading up to the crash are still under investigation. We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Victorville Office.
