Break from Rain on Saturday, more Rain on New Year Eve and Day

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> We have one more round of rain showers coming to hit Southern California before 2025 turns into 2026.

rain showers will continue for the last day of 2025 and start the new year wet.

At this time, it looks like the Atmospheric River (Pineapple Express) will be back in the forecast. This storm could dump several more inches of rain across most of SoCal with another high snow elevation for the mountains.

The exact timing and strength of the storms will be forecast by Monday afternoon Rain showers are likely to begin falling Wednesday afternoon/evening, continuing off and on through Friday morning.

Snow level will be high around 7,000 feet on Thursday.

High Desert cities will get rain showers with gusty winds

So, if you are traveling on New Year Eve or on New Year Day, be prepared for the weather. The Cajon Pass should not get snow with the weather system.
