CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Updated timing of the heavy rain squall line going to hit on New Year’s Day.
This storm will bring moderate to light rainfall that will be heavy at times. A chance of scattered thunderstorms are not out of the question on New Year’s Day morning.
The Southern California Weather Force has issued a Flood Advisory for everybody in Southern California.
Wrightwood, Phelan, Pinon Hills, and parts of Hesperia are in the advisory.

Timing for Inland Empire/Cajon Pass weather info: Rain showers all Wednesday night and on Thursday morning. The heavy rain showers could start around 6am and peak around 7am and end around 10am after that, the storm will turn into rain showers.
If you travel through the Cajon Pass expect heavy traffic due to the weather condition that can change quickly. One-minute light rain then the next minute heavy rain. Remember to SLOW DOWN in the rain or in foggy conditions.
More rain on Friday into Saturday and maybe on Wednesday.
Remember Head Lights “on” in the rain in the daytime.
Slow down to maintain control and leave space between vehicles.
