The King of the Hammers is an off-road race that combines desert racing and rock crawling. This race is held on Means Dry Lake in Johnson Valley, near Yucca Valley.
Nicknamed “Hammertown” is a pop-up town in the middle of the desert with roughly 400 teams and 80,000+ spectators will attend the three-week desert races.
Expect traffic on Bear Valley towards Highway 18 Lucerne Valley on Fridays and Sundays coming back to I-15 Freeway.

Friday January 23 The King of the Grand Prix practice by class and the weather will be Partly Cloudy, windy with a high of 61° and the low of 39°.
Saturday Jan 24 The King of the Motos Race 1, and the Holeshot King Race and the weather will be Partly Cloudy, windy and a high of 55° and the low of 32°.
Sunday Jan 25 The King of the Motos Race 2, and the King of the Grand Prix Race and the weather will be Partly Cloudy, windy, with a high of 55° and the low of 33°.
Next weekend is the Desert Off-Road Races then Ultra4 and Extreme Rock Crawling racing.
