SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A chance of isolated to scattered thunderstorms and even rain showers Tuesday late afternoon into Wednesday.
Southern California Weather Force is predicting isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms to sweep upwards into Southern California Deserts. There is threats of dry lightning, and strong gusty winds, according to SCWF.
It looks like the best chances will be mainly late afternoon into Wednesday morning.
Today thunderstorms will be high-based and can produce little to no precipitation at times, especially considering the faster movement of storm activity. Each thunderstorm cell will also be capable of producing gusty, erratic outflow winds, gusting upwards of 45 to 60+ mph in region.
The heaviest downpours can have the potential to bring a quick 1+ inches of rain. The risk for localized flash flooding is low, but cannot be ruled out because the ground is dry and the burn scars areas.

If you travel through the Cajon Pass or on Interstate 15 expect traffic due to the weather condition can change quickly. Remember to SLOW DOWN in the rain and or blowing dust.
Red Flag Warning starts at 5pm until 11am Wednesday. The warning covers the mountains area up toward Primm Nevada in San Bernardino County. It’s for hot temperatures, low humidity, gusty winds, and dry lightning that could spark a brush fire.
There is a chance of a new start of a brush fire is possible overnight due to lighting across the mountains and desert area.
