SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The Southern California Weather Force has issued a small change in the weather pattern. They are saying colder raining weather next week. Which is good news after months of months of dryness with little rain.
Will the incoming rain help? Yes, it will help if a fire starts by slowinf the fire down and help regrow the greenery on the hills and mountains area. We need more days of rain not two or three. Downpours no, this will cause flooding and mudslide in the burned scars area.
Current forecasts show little hope that more storms could develop in the next few weeks. This could change by day by day.
Did you know that the first major rain storm after a dry spell is actually the most dangerous? This is true, with the oil builds up on roadway over time, and without any rain to wash it away, it just kind of sits there. And then once the rain does come, the oil mixes floats on top of the water creating a rainbow-colored sheen. This could cause you to spin you out or cause a crash. This is like hydroplaning but with oil water mix.
Here is a Check List for Raining Weather:
- Check Wiper Blades and Washer Fluid.
- Check all your Vehicles Lights.
- Check Tire Pressure and look at the Tire Tread.
- Create or check winter emergency kit.
- Create or check your snack box.
Now, it doesn’t mean that rain is coming back in the forecast or will be heavy downpours. The weather pattern can change back to dry windy weather has fast as wet weather shows up.
