CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Update on the Cutoff Low that will hit Southern California this weekend.
Friday afternoon we will pinpoint the timing and amount this weekend.
With this cut-off low there is a chance of thunderstorms on Saturday into Sunday.
As the system continues to come in. Some cities will see different weather that will impact, at time. You may see the sun with clouds and some will see scattered rain showers, snow showers, and some strong gusty winds.
First round of rain will be Friday afternoon into the night. Little to light rainfall with this storm.
The second storm will come in on Saturday evening/night into Sunday. More rainfall with this strom and with a thunderstorm will bring higher rain totals.
Snow levels are expected to remain relatively high around 8,000 feet then drop around 7,000ft Sunday night.
If you travel through the Cajon Pass expect traffic due to the weather condition that can change quickly. Remember to SLOW DOWN in the rain, snow or in foggy conditions.
