CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A very small brush fire broke out by the shooting range in the Blue Cut area of the Cajon Pass Sunday morning.
This fire was reported about 9:51am Sunday, February 7, 2021, between Cajon Blvd. (Route 66) and Interstate 15. The fire is close to the Route 66 Shooting Sports Park off of Cajon Blvd. (Route 66)
San Bernardino County Fire Department, and US Department of Forest Service were getting calls of a small brush fire in the Cajon Pass in the Blue Cut area between Cleghorn Road and Kenwood Avenue exits.
US Forest Service firefighters were quickly were on scene.
Update at 10:30am the fire has been stopped at about 1/4 acre burned.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
