CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass)>> A stolen travel trailer (toy hauler) was recovered Thursday, on northbound Interstate 15 in the Cajon Pass about two miles before Cleghorn Road exit.
The theft happened on April 27 about 4:30am. Caught on camera from a home in the city of Chino Hills. A white Ford F-150 backedup into the driveway and pulled out with the trailer.
On Thursday April 29, 2021 before 7:30pm the California Highway Patrol spotted the trailer and were trying to do a traffic stop. The suspect ditched a gray Ford F-250 pickup truck and the trailer in the middle of the Cajon Pass. The suspects reportedly ran across the southbound lane from the center divider. A CHP helicopter was called to the scene to help search for the suspects. The suspects were taken into custody after about an hour of searching.
