PHELAN, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A head-on collision involving a big rig, school bus, and a small SUV Monday morning on Phelan Road.

The crash was reported shortly after 6am, Monday November 29, 2021, on Phelan Rd. by Trinidad Rd. California Highway Patrol and firefighters from San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the traffic collision. From the CHP reported the big rig was traveling westbound on Phelan Road when he veered into the path of a school bus traveling in the eastbound direction. Both collided head-on, with the impact the big rig continued westbound then collided with a dark gray Toyota Rav4 head-on.

Each person did report minor injuries, with only reporting aches and pain. Nobody was transported to the hospital as a result of the collision from reports. Good news there were no children on the bus, CHP said. The collision remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Victorville Office.
