CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Bandit, an 8 month old female black pit bull who jumped out from a vehicle Saturday during a crash.

The Crash happened at 10:32am Saturday December 11, 2021. It was about a mile and a half after Kenwood Avenue exit on northbound Interstate 15. According to the California Highway Patrol, a minor crash involving a gray Dodge Ram, a white Ford van, and a Toyota Camry or Corolla. Bandit the dog jumped out of the owners vehicle and ran off in the center divider. Even with the help of good Samaritans and the owner they couldn’t catch her. Last seen running north from the crash scene. 

The dog is an 8 month old female black pit bull that goes by the name “Bandit”. Bandit has white tips on her paws and a white strip on her chest, and weighs approximately 25 pounds. A witness stated, she was running northbound in the southbound lanes in center divider, then she ran up the hill of the center median, jumped the divider wall onto the northbound side of the 15 freeway. She could show up anywhere from Devore to Phelan to Oak Hills/Hesperia miles away. She can pop out anytime, so keep an vigil eye out for her.

There were no injuries reported at the scene.
