SAN BERNARDINO, CA. (Pain In The The Pass) >> A 17-year-old passenger was killed in a rollover crash on northbound Interstate 215 connector ramp from westbound I-10 freeway in San Bernardino, the California Highway Patrol said.

The crash happened at about 2:05am Sunday January 30, 2022. The location of the crash was on westbound I-10 ramp to northbound I-215 Connector. California Highway Patrol and the San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the solo traffic crash involving an overturned black Scion TC compact car that went down the embankment.

The impact of the collision ejected one passenger from the Scion. Three people were inside the vehicle when CHP arrived. All three were reported to have been transported to Loma Linda University Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries.

San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department have released the identity of the 17-year-old passenger as, Diego Flores, from San Bernardino. Despite life-saving rescue measures, firefighters and CHP officials said, Diego was pronounced deceased at the scene.

CHP Inland Office is investigating what caused the collision. The driver was reported to be driving reckless prior to the crash. Additional details were limited at this time
