GM Recalls Over 680,000 SUVs Due To Windshield Wiper Failure That Could Cause A Visibility Issue

General Motors (GM) as confirmed on Saturday that it’s starting a voluntary recall for the 2014-2015 Chevrolet Equinox and GMC Terrain SUVs. The carmaker confirms a visibility issue can happened when the windshield wiper stop working.

The SUVs are being recalled are due to a ball joints in the windshield wiper module that can rust. It can cause one or both wipers to fail, increasing the risk of an crash.

Owners are expected to be notified by mail the first week of May. Then take the vehicle to a dealership where the module will be inspected and repaired or replaced if needed free of charge.
