SAN BERNARDINO, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A pedestrian was struck and killed by a driver along eastbound Interstate 10 just after the I-215/I-10 Interchange Wednesday morning, prompting a closure of the northbound lanes.
California Highway Patrol were called to the scene at about 3:16am May 4, 2022. When officers and medical crews arrived, they found the crash involved a vehicle and a pedestrian. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity hasn’t been released.
The driver of a Ford Mustang hit the pedestrian that was reported to be walking in the traffic lanes. The driver did stay at the scene and was cooperating with the investigation, CHP said. This incident is currently under investigation by the California Highway Patrol San Bernardino Inland Office.
