Why Did The Bear Cross The Cajon Pass?

CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> You probably know the joke why did the chicken cross the road, but why did the bear cross the Cajon Pass? To get to the other side, of course. The good news the bear made it across Interstate 15 safety.

The bear ran across Interstate 15 near the Cleghorn road exit.

A viewer sent a video of a bear in the center divider then jumping the k-rail onto northbound I-15. It was taken around 8:30am on Monday May 23, 2022. Watch the video below to see.

It’s not every day you see a bear or a wild animal cross in this area.

California Highway Patrol sent officers out to make sure the bear made it out of the traffic lanes and safely up in the wilderness.

Traffic collisions are one of the leading causes of bears death in the United States. No further details were released at this time.
