KRAMER JUCTION, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The coroner’s office Thursday did released the name of a driver killed in a rollover crash on Highway 395 near Kramer Junction.

 Alexander Saldana, age 44, a resident of Helendale.

California Highway Patrol, Kern, and San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the traffic crash involving a Toyota sedan. The incident took place at about 8:42am October 19, 2022. The location of the crash was about 5 mile away from Kramer Junction.

Alexander Saldana was reported to be traveling on Highway 395. For reasons still under investigation, Alexander lost control of his vehicle and rolled over multiple times. The vehicle landing about 75 to 120 feet off of the right shoulder ravine. The vehicle was the only one involved in the crash. When rescue crews arrived they said the engine was cold and had been there for a while.

We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. Additional details were limited at this time. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Barstow Office.
