VICTOR VALLEY, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A High Wind Advisory has been updated to a Warning for Saturday afternoon October 21, 2022 thought Sunday. A Strong Wind Event for the Mojave Desert locations, mountains and the top of the Cajon Pass.
HIGH WIND WARNING: for the Apple Valley, Barstow area, Hesperia, and Victorville area and the mountains area with 30 to 40 mph winds. Gust up to 60+ mph.
Hazardous driving conditions are possible, especially on the 15 freeway from the top of the Cajon Pass to the Las Vegas area due to blowing dust.
Damaging wind gusts could and will blow down trees and power lines.
Those in the wind areas should secure loose items including trash cans, BBQ, patio furniture, and Holiday lawn ornaments so they don’t blown away, get damaged, or cause damage to themselves.
