PHELAN, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle and killed Wednesday night on Phelan Road.
The crash was reported about 8:17pm. on October 26, 2022, according to the California Highway Patrol. The incident happened on Phelan Rd at the intersection of Caughlin Rd. When CHP officers arrived, they found the crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity hasn’t been released at this time.
The driver that hit the pedestrian reportedly did stay at the scene and was cooperating with the investigation, and there are no charges set to be placed at this time. This incident is currently under investigation by the California Highway Patrol San Bernardino Victorville Office. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
