DEVORE, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> San Bernardino County Fire Department firefighters made a swift water rescue in Devore Friday night as heavy rain fell in the area, causing flooding. 

The incident occurred at around 7:57pm February 24, 2023. San Bernardino County firefighters received a call of a red Dodge pickup truck on a dirt road in a wash with rapidly moving water surrounding the truck near Keenbrook Road and Cajon Blvd.

The sole occupant was successfully removed from vehicle by SBCoFD swiftwater rescue team. Driver was being evaluated by paramedics for a leg injury and hypothermia.

Remember Turn Around Don’t Drown, Flash flooding can happen suddenly and with little warning. Never attempt to cross a flooded road. If you cannot see the pavement, find a safer route or method of travel!
