SEVEN MAGIC MOUNTAINS, NV. (Pain In The Pass) >> Motorcyclist killed in a head-on collision on Las Vegas Boulevard near the Seven Magic Mountains Sunday afternoon.
Nevada Highway Patrol and Clark County Fire Department responded to the traffic crash involving a Honda Civic and a motorcycle rider just after 3pm Sunday April 2, 2023. The collision was located on Las Vegas Boulevard near the Seven Magic Mountains on the side road next to Interstate 15.
Investigators determined the male motorcyclist, who was traveling north, tried to pass the vehicle in front of him, moving into the southbound lane. The motorcycle then collided with the Honda Civic, which was headed south.
The man driving the motorcycle sadly he succumbed to his injuries sustained in the collision.
Three women in the Honda Civic were taken to St. Rose Dominican Hospital with minor injuries.
The NHP said the motorcycle driver is believed to have been impaired at the time of the crash. His identity has not been released publicly at this time.
