BARSTOW, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> An investigation is underway on Interstate 15 after a driver was killed in a single-car rollover crash late Sunday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at about 9:27pm Sunday April 23, 2023. The location of the collision was on northbound Interstate 15 off ramp to Old Highway 58. California Highway Patrol and Barstow Fire Department responded to the rollover crash involving a dark colored Toyota sedan unknown model.
For reasons still under investigation, the Toyota veered off the freeway towards right shoulder. This cause the car to overturn a number of times, came to rest on its side within the shoulder of the freeway.
Firefighters rendered aid to the driver, but sadly the driver succumbed to their injuries sustained in the collision.
The driver identity has not been released publicly at this time.
