PHELAN, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A two vehicle collision that ended with one vehicle on it’s side, Saturday afternoon in the town of Phelan. (Photo above is credit by Dale Bonn.)
California Highway Patrol, San Bernardino County Sheriff Department and firefighters from San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the traffic accident on Phelan Rd. The accident happened on Saturday afternoon about 2:58pm on June 3, 2023, at the intersection of Phelan Road and Clovis Rd.
The vehicles involved in the collision were a sliver Toyota Tacoma pickup truck and a light green Toyota Prius. The Toyota pickup truck had major front-end damage and was on its side. The Prius had major passenger side damage.
One person was transported by a ambulance to a local hospital with minor to moderate injuries.
We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. Additional details were limited at this time. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Victorville Office.
