BAKER, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> An 71-year-old was in a rollover crash along Highway 127 near the town of Baker Sunday afternoon.

California Highway Patrol say the crash occurred about 3:26pm on State Highway 127 near mile marker 27 for a reported rollover crash.

Authorities say the driver lost control and the car rolled over several times, before coming to a rest on its wheels.

71-year-old William Ford Jr. of Klamath Falls, OR. was pronounced dead at the scene by the San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office.

CHP accident reconstruction teams from the Barstow station are working to determine what caused the crash.
