Roadwork this Week on Interstate 15 between the 210 Freeway and Hwy 138

CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is alerting the public that construction contractors will perform night work on Interstate 15 in Fontana up in the Cajon Pass. Weather permitting.

Nighttime work will occur Tuesday, September 5 through Saturday morning September 9, from 7pm to 5am* Work performed will include Northbound and Southbound Unsound Checking at various locations, including truck bypass locations. On Interstate 15 the Closures will vary from 1 lane to 3 lanes during the night. Please note, various lane and connector closures will occur in the project zone. Work performed will include deck rehabilitation, polyester concrete overlay, methacrylate, replace bridge rail, replace joint seals, approach slabs, repair soffit.
All work is dependent on contractor receiving proper materials for each job function. It can be changed or canceled at any time.
The following are planned work and closure locations:

  • Interstate-15 from 210 freeway to Summit Ave. Northbound & Southbound
    Alternating Lane Reductions & Lane Closures up to 3 lanes closed
  • Interstate-15 from Cleghorn Rd to Kenwood Ave. Northbound & Southbound
    Alternating Lane Reduction & Lane Closures. up to 3 lanes closed
  • Interstate 215 Northbound-Truck Bypass Full Closure.
  • Connector Closures
    SB 15 to Eastbound 210 Freeway Connector Closure.
    SB 15 to Westbound 210 Freeway Connector Closure.

*Times can subject to change and could go longer or start earlier. On and off ramps may be subject to closure. Please use caution and remember to reduce your speed when approaching and driving through the construction zones.
